§ Mr. Alan HowarthIt has not been the practice of Governments to forecast unemployment. This Government is committed to ensuring for young people unemployed for more than six months a job, training or useful work experience. This will bring new help and new hope to young adults in need of work, and we have made the development and implementation of these proposals one of our most urgent priorities.
