§ The Prime Minister[holding answer 20 May 1997]: Ministers will in the normal course of business receive deputations from many groups who are concerned to press their own interests or those of their clients. Departments will have a record of all Ministerial meetings, but I do not consider that it would be practicable either to publish all such records or to distinguish particular groups as lobbyists.
