To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has had with(a) Canada, (b) the United States and (c) Russia on the need for an agreement to phase out leghold traps in order to avoid an EU import ban. [855]

Neither my right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary or I have had the opportunity for discussions about leghold traps with my American, Canadian or Russian colleagues.
