§ Mr. ByersWe are committed to establishing a funding system which does not discriminate unfairly between schools or pupils. For 1998–99 and beyond, we will consult widely about how best to achieve that. Funding for grant-maintained schools in 1997–98 is calculated under The Education (Grant-maintained and Grant-maintained Special Schools) (Finance) Regulations 1997.
