§ Mr. HainLocal education authorities and schools are responsible for ensuring that appropriate provision is made for children with special educational needs, including those who are dyslexic. The Welsh Office is continuing to make funds available to LEAs for the training of teachers of children with dyslexia, under the Grants for Education Support and Training (GEST) Programme. I will welcome views from the hon. Member.
