§ Mr. MorleyAll of Council regulation (EEC) No. 3760/92 apart from article 6 continues automatically until the Council decides to change it. The provisions on access restrictions within six and 12-mile limits are exceptional in that they automatically end on 31 December 2002, but the Government are committed to securing their renewal thereafter.
Article 21 of the regulation says that it entered into force on 1 January 1993. With the exception of article 6, no date is specified in the regulation for any part of it to expire. It therefore continues sine die until the Council decides otherwise.
