To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions (1) what was the total number of assaults on(a) staff and (b) passengers on trains in each train operating company area in each of the last five years; [11464]

(2) what was the total number of assaults on (a) staff and (b) passengers at stations in each train operating company area in each of the last five year. [11465]
