HC Deb 29 July 1997 vol 299 c217W
Mr. Luff

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions if he will make a statement on traffic flows in the village of Wyre Piddle, Worcestershire. [9384]

Dr. Strang

The latest figures supplied to the Department by Hereford and Worcester county council in July 1996 relate to flows in 1994. They show an annual average daily traffic flow on the main road in the village of between 10,500 and 11,500 with the percentage of heavy commercial vehicles standing at between 11 and 12 per cent.
