Mr. Swayne

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how much LG has announced that it will invest in Imperial park, Newport; and how many jobs this will create. [11263]

Mr. Hain

When the project was announced on 10 July last year, LG confirmed its intention to invest £1.7 billion at Imperial park in a project that will create 6,100 new direct jobs.
