§ Mr. BoatengOur policy is that children under the age of 16 should not be treated in adult psychiatric wards. Separate provision should also be available for adolescents, but there may be occasions when it is appropriate to treat older adolescents in adult wards. We have received no representations about Lynfield Mount hospital.
