§ Mr. MorleyAgriculture is currently the only industry covered by minimum wage legislation. Rates are reviewed annually in England and Wales. The minimum hourly rate of pay from 1 June 1997 for a 16-year-old casual worker undertaking agricultural work is £1.84. The rate for casual workers for anyone aged 19 and over is £3.06 per hour.
