Responsibility for dumping at sea and for the disposal of radioactive waste in Scotland rests with the Secretary of State for Scotland. His officials are currently in discussion with the company concerned, and, as undertaken in my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Kirkcaldy (Dr. Moonie) on 1 July Official Report, columns 158–60, any new information found will be reported to the House.
