§ Mr. Morley[holding answer 22 July 1997]: The following reviews have been announced by the Department.
A review of the case for inoculation as a substitute for rabies quarantine has been announced. It is not yet clear when this will be completed.
A review of the Milk Development Council has been announced. It is expected to be completed later this year.
710WAn urgent review of the arrangements for enforcing the rules on the welfare of animals exported live to the continent has been announced. The intention is to introduce as soon as practicable changes which are shown to be necessary .
A review of salmon and freshwater fisheries policy and legislation has been announced. It is expected to be completed within 18 months.
A comprehensive spending review has been announced. It is expected to be completed by March 1997.
