§ Angela EagleThe Department is undertaking a fundamental review of transport policy whose purpose is to lead a White Paper on an integrated transport policy. We anticipate the White Paper will be published next spring. A review of compulsory competitive tendering regulations and guidance, which seeks to identify changes which will improve the existing regime pending its replacement by a duty of best value, is due to be completed shortly.
