§ Ms Glenda JacksonThe Channel Tunnel Intergovernmental Commission, on the advice of the Channel Tunnel Safety Authority, has approved a carriage list of dangerous goods allowed through the channel tunnel. Three classes of dangerous goods are excluded from the list: class 4.2—substances liable to spontaneous combustion; class 4.3—substances which in contact with water emit flammable gases; class 5.2—organic peroxides.
