§ Mr. MorleyWe shall take every opportunity in contacts with our EU partners to press our view that a trade in meat is preferable to the long distance transport of food animals. In support of this we shall now be pressing our partners to implement and enforce the new EU rules on journey times which we ourselves have introduced as a priority, and are seeking improvements in these rules in ongoing EU discussions.
