§ Dr. ReidMy Department's Outreach programme of bilateral co-operation with central and eastern European countries comprises a wide range of training and advisory measures. Outreach supports NATO's Partnership for Peace initiative, which seeks to prepare applicants for NATO membership and to enhance interoperability between NATO and all of the countries of the region.
