The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster has asked me to reply to your Question about City House, Cambridge.Since 1 April 1996 it has been the responsibility of individual Government Departments to assess the suitability of prospective accommodation.PACE has not been asked by any department to undertake an assessment as to the potential of City House, Cambridge as accommodation for their own purposes.
