§ Mr. BoatengThe level of resources for community care in 1997–98 was announced in February 1997 as part of the local government settlement. That issue is now closed. My right hon. Friend the Deputy Prime Minister will announce the government's plans for local government expenditure in 1998–99, including provision for personal social services, in the autumn.
