§ Ms JowellThe oldest document retained by the Department of Health which has not been released for public inspection is thought to date from 1948 and is contained in a file entitled: "Civil Defence—Casualty and Other Ministry of Health Services: Working party on Medical Aspects". The file has been retained in the Department under Section 3 (4) of the Public Record Act 1958.
