§ Sir John WheelerFollowing consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor General for Northern Ireland, it is proposed that the local government and health audit functions should be attached to the Northern Ireland Audit Office. The change will put the external audit arrangements for these sectors on an independent basis similar to practice in the rest of the United Kingdom.
