§ Sir Paul BeresfordManchester city council made representations about a number of aspects of the proposals for the revenue support grant for 1997–98. We have considered them carefully. It expressed particular concerns about data on income support claimants. These concerns have been examined carefully by the Department for Social Security. In the light of its investigations, we are satisfied that the data can properly be used in the calculation of the revenue support grant.
