§ Sir Paul BeresfordSince 1987, Stockton borough council has opposed three planning applications initiated by Teesside development corporation. The applications were for developments at Teesside retail park, phase 2, the Rowing Course at Teesdale and a fenland village at Cowpen Bewley. Cleveland county council also opposed the Teesdale retail park phase 2 development.
