§ Mr. KirkhopeThe Home Office has not commissioned primary research, but in September 1996 we published a report, "The Social Implications of Casino 7W Gambling". This examined international experience in casino regulation and problem gambling. I have placed a copy in the Library.
Our second consultation paper on casino deregulation, issued on 18 November 1996, commented further on the social implications of casino gambling.
