HC Deb 23 January 1997 vol 288 cc711-2W
Mr. Mullin

To ask the Attorney-General, pursuant to his answer of 16 October 1996,Official Report, column 963, if the Crown Prosecution Service has reached a view about whether or not to prosecute the band "No Remorse" and the producers and distributors of the CD "Barbecue in Rostock"; and if he will make a statement. [11665]

The Attorney-General: I understand that the Gwent police are continuing their investigation into the production of a compact disc by a band calling themselves. "No Remorse". The police have not yet submitted a file of evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service. It is expected that at the conclusion of the investigation the police will submit a file of evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service for advice as to whether criminal proceedings should be instituted.
