§ Mr. SproatThe National Lottery etc. Act 1993 established five areas to benefit equally from the lottery: sport, the arts, the heritage, charities and a millennium fund to mark the year 2000 and the beginning of the third millenium. There are no plans to establish a national disaster fund from the proceeds of the national lottery.
