§ Mr. AncramThe proposed closure of the veterinary science division, Omagh laboratory, would have made an annual saving of up to £320,000 in departmental running costs and a one-off saving of approximately £250,000 for the installation of a new incinerator, to meet emission standards required by the anticipated legislation and stemming from Council directive 84/360/EEC.
