§ Mr. Horam[holding answer 13 January 1997]: It is not possible to identify separately expenditure on intensive treatment units, because expenditure is measured by consultant specialty rather than type of treatment. The details requested of expenditure on other hospital services are in the table. It would be possible to provide data for the west midlands region only at disproportionate cost.
