The Solicitor-GeneralIt is for the Court of Appeal to decide in each case what is the appropriate course. When the court wishes to formulate detailed reasons, for example, in an important guideline case, it may announce its decision at the conclusion of the hearing but promulgate its reasoned judgment later.
