§ Mr. RifkindThe UK original of treaties and agreements between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland uses the nomenclature appropriate under UK law which is "the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" and "the Government of the Republic of Ireland". The Irish original of such treaties and agreements uses the nomenclature for the two countries which the Irish Government consider appropriate.
