§ Mrs. Gillan[holding answer 20 February' 1997]The outturn cost of the key stage 2 performance tables is not yet available. The cost of the 1996 secondary school and 16 to 18 tables, which listed some 5,500 institutions, was £1.4 million. Key stage 2 tables will list some 14,500 schools, but are likely to cost rather less.
