§ Mr. SproatMy Department employs consultants to undertake assessments in accordance with statutory requirements so as to identify hazardous material in buildings occupied. Registers are maintained of any known materials and regular further inspections made.
In respect of ozone-depleting substances, all equipment where such substances exist is maintained by external contractors in accordance with statutory and best practice requirements as part of their terms of employment. Risk assessments are carried out as part of this work.
