§ Mr. Robin SquireThe following table shows the real-terms change of total education standard spending assessments in England for each financial year since SSAs were introduced in 1990–91. The notes set out the principal changes in local education authorities' financial responsibilities. When allowance is made for these changes, SSAs have increased over this period by 15.6 per cent. in real terms.
