Table 1 shows, by region, the pump priming grant for each business link area.
A list of business link services expenditure by business link area could only be provided at disproportionate cost since the information on services grant for each business link is not held centrally and the total services grant for each business link would have to be calculated from local, generally paper-based records of expenditure from each of the services budgets. However, data on expenditure by region are held electronically and table 2 shows expenditure on business support services funded by DTI through training and enterprise councils and business links. These data include expenditure of non-business link services in those areas where the business link had not yet opened in 1995–96.
