To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many TB notifications there were for each local authority in London for each of the last five years and 1996 to date. [13757]

The number of cases of tuberculosis—excluding chemoprophylaxis—notified to the Office for National Statistics is published annually by local authority in the publication "MB2 Communicable Disease Statistics". Copies are available in the Library and the latest published year is 1994. Figures for 1995 and provisional figures for 1996 are given in the table.
