§ Baroness CumberlegeThe Green Paper,Developing Partnerships in Mental Health, is published today. Copies are available from the Printed Paper Office and the Library. It reviews the progress which health and local authorities have already made in developing joint working in the delivery of mental health and social care services and looks at ways to build on this. The Green Paper considers how the current organisational framework for commissioning and providing services could be used more effectively 141WA and also sets out four options for structural change. We are seeking views on these proposals from those with an interest in developing mental health services during a three-month consultation period.
