§ Mr. Gordon BrownThe Treasury is today publishing a booklet containing estimates of the effects of various illustrative tax changes on tax revenues in 1998–99 to 2000–01 and preliminary estimates of the costs of the main tax reliefs in 1996–97 and 1997–98. Copies are being placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
