HC Deb 22 December 1997 vol 303 c442W
Mr. Grogan

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions how many representations have been made to his Department regarding each scheme which is being considered as part of the Government's review of the roads programme; and in each case how many were(a) in support of and (b) opposed to the scheme. [22254]

Ms Glenda Jackson

Some 13,000 representations were received in response to the Roads Review consultation exercise, including significant lobbying campaigns in support of some schemes. These representations are being considered, but a detailed analysis in the form requested by my hon. Friend is not available.
