Mr. Spring

To ask the Secretary of State for Health by what percentage tobacco consumption in the United Kingdom has changed up to 1996 since (i) 1975, (ii) 1978, (iii) 1990 and (iv) 1993. [19707]

Information about cigarettes released for home consumption in the United Kingdom is shown in the table. The data include home produced and imported cigarettes, but exclude cigars, hand rolling tobacco and other tobacco products.
