The Department has not published Key Stage 1 results by local education authority (LEA) since 1992. The Government plan to publish 1997 Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 results for each LEA early next year.

The AEN index for each Local Education Authority (LEA) for 1998–99 is listed below. Each LEA will publish 1997 Key Stage 2 results for schools in its area in January 1998.
