§ Mr. Rooker[holding answer 18 December 1997]: When SEAC's advice was notified to my right hon. Friend, and having taken into account the views of the Chief Medical Officer, he announced his intention to consult widely on proposals to prohibit the sale of beef on the bone from animals aged over six months. My right hon. Friend has received a large number of comments which were taken into account before he introduced legislation in this House.
