§ Dr. HowellsThe Department has anticipated the potential for problems where its systems hold data that include dates beyond Year 2000 and/or where such systems manipulate these dates. All such systems have been identified and timely corrective action is being taken. No other specific problems have been identified either within the Department, its agency or the Non Departmental Public Bodies responsible to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Employment.
