To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will restate Table 2.1, page 21, in the "Pre-Budget Report November 1997" to show figures on a cash basis. [19935]

[holding answer 10 December 1997]: The figures shown in table 2.1 of the "Pre-Budget Report" can be converted onto a cash basis using the projections of money GDP shown in table B.2, page 98.
