§ The Attorney-GeneralIt is not the practice of the Government to release copies of pleadings in cases before the European Court of Justice. Such pleadings are addressed to the Court and are prepared with the specific purpose of informing the Court and the other parties of the arguments of the party submitting the pleadings. The practice is in accordance with the exclusion in paragraph 4(e) of Part II of the Code of Practice on Access to Government Information (information relating to legal proceedings).
