§ Mrs. Liddell[holding answer 12 December 1997]: CCTA issued detailed guidance in May 1997 on the handling of the Year 2000 problem. The Treasury is implementing this advice. All contractual relationships with non-compliant non-governmental organisations and suppliers who provide strategic goods and services that will be effected by non-compliance will cease on or before the date when the problem takes effect.
