Letter from Tim Holt to Mrs. Ann Clwyd, dated 16 December 1997: The Chancellor of the Exchequer has asked me to reply, as Director of the Office for National Statistics (ONS), to your recent question on fatalities due to carbon monoxide poisoning in each of the last 10 years. The number of deaths in England and Wales from carbon monoxide poisoning (ICD∗986) in each of the last ten years are shown in the table.
