Mr. Chidgey

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions what are the hourly rates of pay for full-time employees in his Department in the range of £4.39 an hour to £3.17 an hour; and how many people receive each such hourly rate of pay in each region defined by the boundaries of the regional government offices. A total of 1,351 full-time employees can earn between £4.39 an hour and £3.17 an hour.

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many full-time employees in his Department are paid at an hourly rate of between(a) £3.30 and £3.50, (b) £3.51 and £3.75 and (c) £3.76 and £4. [20611]
