To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport how many car park spaces are provided for his Department's(a) Ministers, (b) employees and (c) visitors in (i) London and (ii) the United Kingdom. [19368]

[holding answer 8 December 1997]: The Department has a total of 13 car park spaces; four for Ministerial use and one for use by the Permanent Secretary. The remaining eight spaces are set aside for staff and visitors with medical problems or welfare requirements and contractors working on the premises. All the Department's car park spaces are located in London.
