§ Mr. Tony LloydWe strongly support the work of United Nations organisations such as the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) to promote full implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. In 1998 negotiations will begin on a new ILO Convention on child labour. We will help to ensure that the new convention makes a vital contribution to eliminating the most abhorrent forms of child labour, including bonded labour.
