§ Mr. RaynsfordLocal planning authorities are expected to have regard to relevant published statements of national planning policy, including Planning Policy Guidance notes, in the exercise of their planning functions. PPG22 states that in assessing proposals in designated areas there is a need to take full account of the specific features or qualities which justified designation.
